Benno Voorham
is a dance improviser, choreographer and teacher from Holland, living in Stockholm since 1995. Since he graduated from the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam he has worked as a free-lance dance-artist throughout Europe, directing his own work as well as collaborating with others in both set and improvised pieces. His work has toured Eastern Europe, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom in the last few years. He has won a distinctive reputation for his original brand of teaching and performing. At present he is performing a duet "Adam & Adam" with Nikolai Schetnev from Russia and is involved in several improvisation festivals. In 2002 he has organised the DIP-festival in Stockholm.
is a dancer and teacher from the Netherlands living in Sweden from 1995. She started her professional studies in Rotterdam and has been performing and teaching dance from 1978 in Europe and overseas.. Sybrig graduated as an alexander teacher in 1993 from ATON in Amsterdam From 1993 she had a private practice in Amsterdam as well as teaching the alexander technique in connection with workshops in new dance all over Europe. She has worked with several companies and choreographers and created her own work. Currently she is involved in several improvisation festivals and projects. In 2002 she has organised the DIP-festival in Stockholm. With Benno Voorham she founded LAVA-Dansproduktion in 1997.
