Helge Musial
Helge Musial received his dance education in modern dance, contact
improvisation, classical ballet and choreography in Berlin, Amsterdam, Riga and
New York and holds a degree in choreography from the Hochschule für
Schauspielkunst Ernst-Busch Berlin. Between 1983 and 1999 he worked for
Tanzfabrik Berlin, among others, where he participated in many productions as a
dancer and created 8 pieces as a choreographer. In 1994 he choreographed “Six
Dances` for Staatsoper Unter den Linden and 1996/2002 for the Swedish Norddans
Compagnie. His choreographies have also been shown on international festivals.
Since 1995 he has been lecturer for dance techniques and movement studies for
actors at the Universität der Künste Berlin.
