Geographic Situation
The arlequi is housed in the Mas Llapart, a large former farmhouse built in the
17th century. It is located about 3 kilometer from
Banyolas between fields, meadows and forests.
Banyolas is about 30 kilometers south of the French border and 30 km west of
the Mediteranean Sea. A special attraction of Banyolas is its
fine lake. The waters of the lake are clear and invite to bathe. The
lake can be reached by bicycle or by foot from the house (about 3 km).
Banyolas belongs to the province of Girona in Catalunia in the northeast of
Span.

How to get to arlequi
By Car
From North
Take the Autopista A7 until exit Figueres Norte, In Figueres follow the
direction (right) to Banyolas Olot. After about 16 km, exit this road (left)
and proceed into Banyolas.
From South
Exit the Autopista at Girona Norte. Take the large road from Girona to
Banyolas. Leave this road to enter Banyolas.
From Banyolas
Drive in the direction Santa Pau/Olot (not Besalu-Olot!). About 600 m behind
Banyolas there is a road (left) leading to Pujarnol. Take this road. Another 2
km from here there is a small road going left. The arlequi is the large
farmhouse here.
By Plane
Fly to Gerona Airport. E.g. Ryanair flies to Gerona from several
European airports. Gerona airport is about 35 km distance from arlequi
From Gerona Airport take a bus to Girona Train Station and the bus from there
(see below).
Fly to Barcelona Airport.
From Barcelona airport take the train to the train station Barcelona Sants.
There take the train to Girona. There are several trains daily. The train to
Girona takes about 2 hours.
There is also a direct bus from Barcelona to Banyolas leaving at 9am, 2
pm,5 pm and 7 pm (9:00, 14:00,17:00,19:00) Monday to Friday and 9am and 7 pm on
Saturdays and Sundays. The bus takes about 1.5 hours to Banyoles. The bus
leaves at the corner between the streets Pau Claris and Consell de Cent which
is five minutes walk from the Placa Catalunya. There is a bus from the airport
to Placa Catalunya directly.
By Train
Take the Train to Gerona/Girona. Take the bus leaving to Banyolas (several
busses daily). The busses leave directly behind the railway station.
From Banyolas take a Taxi to arlequi. The Taxi driver should know where it is
.(Carreta Pujarnol, Mas Llapart).
If you want to walk: It is about 3 km from the center of Banyolas. Follow the
road for cars.
