Benno Voorham is a dance improviser, choreographer and teacher from Holland, living in Stockholm since 1995. Since he graduated from the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam he has worked internationally as a free-lance dance-artist, directing his own work as well as collaborating with others in both set and improvised pieces. He was a permanent member of the Greek political dance-theatre company ‘Wrong Movement’ and has worked at the City Theatre of Stockholm as a physical actor. In both his teaching and performance work, he is interested in exploring the creative, narrative potentials of the human body in motion.
He has won a distinctive reputation for his original brand of teaching and performing.
His teaching is primarily focussed on Improvisation and Contact Improvisation.
He is teaching extensively throughout Europe since 1986.

Sybrig Dokter
i is a dancer, dance maker and teacher from the Netherlands living in Sweden from 1995. She received her dance education during the late seventies in Rotterdam (Netherlands), London and New York. She worked as a dancer in New York and Canada before moving back to Europe. Sybrig has performed work by other choreographers as well as created her own work. Her teaching and performing has taken her amongst others to the Baltic countries, Russia, Moldova, Scandinavia and Great Britain. Most recent she has been part of Möte’09 at Norrlands Opera in Umeå, Sweden. A collaborative-choreographic research project where other 8 artists from disciplines such as choreographers, writers or multimedia artists, were invited to question the different formats of meeting with the audience (organised by Produkt, 2009).
