Improvisation in Performance
Research Project around its Unknown Animal Inside We invite everyone
with experience in movement or theatre improvisation and a strong personal
interest in working together in an explorative, playful setting. Wiebke and
Ilanit are cooperating for several years now. For the last 5 years they have
conducted joint workshops. They are both working on research of improvisation
and on contact techniques as a creative tool for developing a personal
language, and as a Performing Art.
This time they like to go deep into the material and prepare this exciting and
new experiment of research methods as a dialogue between two worlds:

The exploration inside of well chosen contents based on communication through
body structures, heart, mind and imagery as well as
-
The ´academic` research level (like video research for those who like and
qualitative analyses based on short interviews/ individual perspectives).
Every day we’ll give a morning session of two hours in techniques, and a second
session of two hours that will be dedicated to improvisation dances. We shall
have open jam sessions for improvisation dances in the night, leaded movement
explorations in the nature and probably 2 times informal evening performances
to reflect your own creative ideas. The studio is open for your use day and
night!
